Whether or not its karma, simple voter retalliation, our makeshift voodoo doll or the fact that d-bag Carl Paladino never had a chance in hell of being elected NY governor, Monday's poll from the New York Times is received as good news: Dem. Andrew Cuomo leads anti-gay loose canon Carl Paladino by 35 points! That's quite the spread!

Reports the Times:

Some 59 percent of voters in the poll said that Mr. Paladino did not have the right temperament and personality to be a good governor, while 55 percent said that Mr. Paladino, a novice candidate who made millions as a real estate developer, did not have the right kind of experience.

Only 11 percent of voters in the poll had a favorable view of Mr. Paladino.

And when asked what comes to mind when they hear his name, voters who were surveyed offered a collection of negative personality traits, like “angry,” “bigoted” or “obnoxious."

Let this huge gap serve as evidence to any hopeful politician that campaigning on the side of hate and bigotry does not work in your favor, no matter the amount of times you find it cathartic to mention boys in bikini briefs gyrating on top of each other.
