Apple is about to change the name of the game once again. This time focusing on function not design, which could help reduce the amount of mental breakdowns this holiday season. Details after the jump.

Sick of waiting in long lines or dealing with Apple employees that like to second guess your every decision? Well, there's an app for that. No, really!

On Thursday, Apple’s new retail store app for iOS will launch, bringing two major features with it.

1) The app will allow online ordering with retail store pick up.

2) The app will also allow for customer self check-out at retail stores. Apple is the first to be able to put it together.

The process sounds flimsy, but it is Apple, afterall, and they are use to doing the risky and unexpected. Basically, here is how this will work: after you find the item you want to buy, you launch the Apple Store app on your iOS device and there will be an option to buy a product in the store. Once the app is open, you scan the product with the camera on your device, click purchase, and it will charge the credit card associated to your Apple ID. Then, get this, you just walk out of the store. BGR.com has been told that Apple will not be checking purchases.

You can catch people awkwardly walk in and out of the Apple store with new products without having talked to anyone or exchanging forms of purchase starting Thursday.

I am sad this day has come, as we are losing personal and information at its pivital best as the service which has been our mainstay of salesmanship throughout the 20/21 century, and we are all now relying on voice and robotic technitians where personal interaction was king
