Michele Bachmann now garners as many gay blog headlines as Lady Gaga. She must be so proud! For Friday's Bachmann roundup, we've got a hilarious editorial cartoon that ran in the Dallas Voice, a challenge for hubby Marcus to debate "gay issues" from out GOP candidate Fred Karger, and a bitch-slap from none other than Janeane Garofalo. Follow the jump for the Bachmann bounty!
First up, the cartoon that ran in Friday's Dallas Voice: (Click picture to enlarge)
Next, openly-gay GOP presidential candidate Fred Karger has challenged Michele's "ex-gay therapist" husband Marcus Bachmann to a debate.
Writes Karger in his invitation:
“Marcus Bachmann you are convinced that someone can "pray away the gay" and actually own two clinics in Minnesota where you and your 27 therapists actually practice this falsehood. Just last year you referred to gays and lesbian teenagers as "Barbarians, who need to be educated.
"I will meet you anywhere, any place at any time, even at one of your clinics in Minnesota.
"As the first out gay candidate for president, I have first-hand knowledge about a subject which you claim expertise. Let me know if you accept this challenge."
Also, '90s comic Janeane Garofalo is grasping onto prominence again with a catty call-out on Countdown (apologies for alliteration!)
