A new Barbie product from Mattel has invited fits of laughter from all corners of the blogosphere today. Details follow.
Copyranter says that the new "Barbie: A Fairy Secret" product turns the icon into a (lipstick) lesbian:
A Fairy Secret?!? That "Ken" is a near spitting image of Ellen DeGeneres, yes? Yes, it's real item. And really, who can blame her, with Ken not very well hidden in the closet all these years.
However, Joe Jervis at JoeMyGod interprets the product a bit differently.
We just love that Mattel is getting closer to accepting Ken as a full-fledged mo. We mean, "fairy secret"?! When is the "fairy surprise" going to get its official reveal?
