Did Bill O'Reilly under go the world's first successful "conversion therapy" (from anti-gay pinhead to pro-LGBT commentator) or is he simply softening and becoming wiser as he ages?

First, in February, Bill O had us issue a rare declaration of praise after he defended Ellen against that unsuccessful JC Penney protest lofted by One Million Moms. Now he's rushing to defend trans beauty Jenna Talackova, who was kicked out of the Miss Universe pageant for not being born with female genitalia. The head scratching exchange Bill O hosted recently on Fox News, after the jump!

“What right does the Miss Universe pageant have to violate this lady’s right to be a woman?" Bill O asks. "They are basically saying because you weren’t born a woman you don’t have a right to be a woman..[I]t doesn’t sound right to me."

Igor Volksy at ThinkProgress reminds us that not too far back (in 2010), Bill O compared folks in the trans community to Ewoks, highlighting how just astonishing this change of thought for the commentator truly is.

When President Obama can stand to take a few tips from Bill O'Reilly on "evolving," then we start to worry that the Mayans were really on to something...
