Whew!
We didn't exactly rush to the gift registry earlier this year when Brad Pitt said that he and Angie had grown tired of waiting for equality and might have to take the matrimonial plunge despite their famous friendly promise. But Jennifer Aniston has been given more time to fit her face for a prosthetic disguise and ready her objection speech for the A-Lister's wedding day—the couple still plans to hold off on tying the knot until gay and lesbian couples are given the same right.
"We actually, really and truly, have no date," Brad said during a panel for Killing Me Softly at the Cannes Film Festival. "It's just something that makes sense to us, and certainly date-wise, it's just a rumor. We're still hoping that we can figure out marriage equality in the states before that date."
Here's hoping they won't have to wait much longer!
