Brad Pitt has been a vocal and financial supporter of marriage equality in California. He's famously promised time and time again that he will not marry Angeline Jolie until all couples are allowed access to the right. But his love for the mother of his children might be stronger than his patience as he hints to the Hollywood Reporter that we might hear wedding bells ring for the A-Listers before we hear them ring for same-sex couples. Details follow.

"We’d actually like to, and it seems to mean more and more to our kids," Brad tells THR. "We made this declaration some time ago that we weren’t going to do it till everyone can. But I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out. It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment.”

Brad gets vague when asked if he's proposed to Angelina yet, but extols the same mantra he's repeated since 2006 about inequality in regard to love. “I’m not going to go any further," he said. "But to be in love with someone and be raising a family with someone and want to make that commitment and not be able to is ludicrous, just ludicrous.”

Should we let the lovebirds off the hook of their promise and applaud their right to marry?
