If you hoped the National Organization for Marriage planned to limit its hate agenda to just keeping civil rights out of reach for same-sex couples, you were sadly wrong. Increasingly it seems NOM is broadening its closed-minded scope to include battling the gay community in a general sense, on every level. The latest evidence comes courtesy of a grumpy Tweet from NOM head Brian Brown. Details follow.
Though Glee's anticipated "sex episode" hasn't even aired yet (and is said to only show a tame version of gay intimacy while the straights get a little riskier), Brown took to Twitter to convey his disgust of the "gay agenda" of the show.
@GleeonFox creators get away with pushing their agenda even further by featuring gay teen sex on upcoming episode.
Perhaps Jeremy Hooper at Good As You sums up this assholery best:
"Clearly Brian Brown would rather Kurt and Blaine marry first, right?"
Well said, Jeremy.
Unfortunately, this is likely only the start of a week of "outrage" we hear from homophobic wingnuts following the controversial episode, so prepare for the onslaught, Instincters!
