Now this is the kind of casting choice we can get behind. (Or in front of. Under. On top of. Whatever works.)
Cheyenne Jackson has signed on to NBC's The Munsters reboot, Mockingbird Lane!
Though we haven't exactly been clamoring for a Munsters reboot, Cheyenne Jackson's inclusion in the pilot means we'll at least give the first episode a proper viewing.
More after the jump!
According to Deadline, "Cheyenne Jackson (30 Rock) is set for a guest starring role in NBC’s Munsters reboot Mockingbird Lane...Jackson will play Scout Master Steve, Eddie’s charming, cheerful new Scout Master, a widower with no children of his own who becomes smitten with Lily."
Apparently Lily's being played by Portia de Rossi, who we love, and Jerry O'Connell's lined up to play Herman Munster. O'Connell may not be the first person that springs to mind, but he's cute so we're not mad at it.
Perhaps, Cheyenne's guest spot will turn into something more permanent and we'll get a monster-mash menage a trois?
We can only hope.
