David-Furnish3

It certainly must go against his gay genetics (it's science!), but Elton John's hubby David Furnish is still not finished reading Madonna the T. The latest round of verbal jousting comes courtesy of Furnish's post-feud interview wtih New York Post. So, what else does Furnish have to say about Madonna beating out Elton for the Best Original Song Golden Globe?

“I think it was a fluke . . . When this happens you have to question the integrity of the awards. Did Madonna get the Golden Globe because she attended the awards and agreed to be a presenter?

"Can you sing Madonna’s song? Can you hum it? It’s a song nobody has heard, from a film few have seen. The award should have gone to Mary J. Blige or Elton. I like Madonna’s music, but not her movies. She should stick to what she is good at.”

Sources close to Madge insist that no Golden Globe deal was made in exchange for an award.

Do you think it's sweet that David is going to such lengths to stand up for his husband or have we had enough already?

I start by quoting David Furnish "I like Madonna’s music, but not her movies. She should stick to what she is good at.” Someone should tell him that Madonna did win it for her Music and not for the film. David, you have to start paying more attention dude!

David, shouldn't you be home changing your kids' diaper or spending all of Elton's millions? Leave Madge alone. She earned it fair and square, and the gays still love her, which is more than we can say for you and Elton at this point...you make yourselves look like asses!

I LOVE both David Furness and Sir Elton John. My name is Roger Walcker. I am an "out and proud" gay Christian Architect (University of Oregon, class of 1974). Since July, 2006, I have been HIV+! I moved from my home town, The Dalles, to Portland in October 2007. I attended my 1st AIDS Walk and met Jeff Merkley, soon elected Senator from Oregon. I also met Senator Ron Wyden and Govenor Barbara Roberts and our own gay mayor Sam Adams. At every AIDS Walkm I cry unashamedly. Michael Kaplan is the executive director of Cascade AIDS Project, gay and HIV+ for 2 years. Michael invited the 200 of us who are HIV+ to lead the 2011 AIDS Walk. We led 10,000 Walkers for 2 1/2 miles and earned $465,000 for CAP. Both numners are all-time records. My University if Oregon Fighting Ducks won the Rose Bowl on January 2nd. We beat the Wisconsin Badgers 45-38. The Ducks won the 1st Rose Bowl in 1917! In the Rose Parade was an HIV / AIDS float dedicated to Dame Elizabeth Taylor. On the float was a huge AIDS ribbon with the names of SOME of those who have died from HIV / AIDS! Elizabeth Taylor and Sir Elton have raised 100s of millions of dollare to fight thus damn virus. When Sir Elton oreformes at an HIV / AIDFS benefit, he does NOT charge, not one red cent! The Elton John AIDS Foundation raises money and tolerance and support for those if us who ARE infected! David Furness is the VP of the ELJF and with Sir Elton and their son Zachary, has demostrated to the world just how a commited gay couple CAN make a statement to the world: We are here, we are queer, and we are FABULOUS!" God bless you all! Sincerly, Roger Walcker (and yes, my last name IS spelled queerly!)

I love "Masterpiece" since the first time I heard it on the internet...I love it for the simplicity yet witty lyric, catchy with a bit dark nuance and pain yet sweet melody, divine vunerability in the song...I've heard all the nominee songs, nothing as good as "Masterpiece" and the others are forgettable, but "Masterpiece" instantly sticks like candy to my head...OMG - was it Madonna herself giving the comment? I love you, Madonna! keep doing what you're doing for like another 100 years...!
