Chick-Fil-A has spent the past several years turning fried chicken and waffle fries into a mini anti-gay hate industry of its own and all COO Dan Cathy has to say for the campaign to ruin the lives of millions of American families is "guilty as charged."

Leave it to Chick-Fil-A to find the one time a man's cockiness is unattractive.

Details follow.

"But as an organization we can operate on biblical principles," Cathy said in an interview with the Baptist Press. "So that is what we claim to be. [We are] based on biblical principles, asking God and pleading with God to give us wisdom on decisions we make about people and the programs and partnerships we have. And He has blessed us."

The BP continues:

Some have opposed the company's support of the traditional family. "Well, guilty as charged," said Cathy when asked about the company's position.

"We are very much supportive of the family -- the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.

And in case you thought the horrific anti-gay PR disaster shadowing Chick-Fil-A worried Cathy, rest assured that he plans to keep the fast food chain working hard to keep civil rights away from an American minority group.

"We intend to stay the course," he said. "We know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles."

And thank Lourdes we live in a country where drag queens can bring the LGBT boycott of a bigoted fast food chain to mainstream attention

I love how people talk about the "Biblical definition of the family..." like that consists of a husband, wife, & 2.5 kids. Dude, read your Bible--a family consists of one man, 200 wives, 100 concubines, and many children, including daughters whom you will sell to the highest bidder for the right amount of goats.

I guess the first wives crack means he is against divorced folks too. Should we invite them, including single parents to the boycott too?

I totally support a traditional family based on love and commitment. I have been married to my first life partner for 47 years, and will continue to be till death do us part.

Chik Fil A has a right to do with their money what they choose and the owners have a right to believe what they choose to believe. That is the beauty of this country. I have the right to eat somewhere else, and see to it that they never see a dime of my money and encourage every single person I know to eat somewhere else. It's actually amazing how many people are unaware of the hate stance this terrible company, with one of the worst ratings for healthy food, actually takes. Currently they bring their wares to my work place and peddle them. I have been considering petitioning my work place to remove them from the rotation because my work place does support the rights of same gender couples and in all other respects has been very good to me.

I applaud the man for standing up for his beliefs. I am a christian and I do not believe in same sex marriage. However, that does not mean I hate them, neither does God. Just because he donates money to an organization that promotes the biblical based idea of a family doesn't mean he hates gays. I have a friend who works for them and she said they are the best company she has ever worked for! Good job for Chick- fil-a

We live in a pluralistic society. Chick-a-fil does not want to recognize that our society is not all Christian. Lets keep faith in perspective and have food service regulated by the health department not moral guardians.

Funny how you cut and paste the comments and rearranged them to form an article that paints the man as a pure biggot! well done!
