Apparently President Obama is to blame for the vast liberal conspiracy to turn the Boy Scouts of America gay—at least according to Chuck Norris.

In a piece he posted to Ammoland.com, a "shooting sports news website" (really, Chuck?), Norris blasts the President for working behind-the-scenes to create "a pro-gay Boy Scouts of America."

Cuz you know...that would be awful.

More after the jump.

Norris' beef (which is probably more like jerky at this point) stems from Boy Scouts of America national board member, James Turley's recent announcement that he“will work from within to seek a change” to overturn the BSA policy that bans gay Scouts and leaders.

Turley happens to be the global chairman and CEO of the accounting firm Ernst & Young.

Norris "questions" whether Turley's decision to be less than bigoted asshole is based on "perks and favors" from the Obama administration, rather than his desire to see the BSA become a more inclusive and tolerant organization.

He writes:

"Is it a coincidence that Turley came out swinging against the BSA’s  century-old policy to ban gays from leadership and that he has such close  affiliations with the pro-gay Obama administration?

Is it a coincidence that Turley and his wife, Lynne, were just guests at a  state dinner hosted by President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama in  honor of British Prime Minister David Cameron at the White House on March  14?

Is it a coincidence that Turley was nominated to President Obama’s Export  Council in 2010?"

He poses many more questions, but you get the drift.

Here's a question for Chuck: Is it so far out of the realm of possibility to think that maybe, just maybe, there are individuals on the board of the Boy Scouts of America and within the ranks of the BSA that don't feel the same way you do about gay people?

That maybe they don't all agree that gays are the bane of society and culture?

That maybe they don't belief that gays are a threat to family values? Or personal integrity?

For an individual that has been lionized for years for his fearlessness (we've all got our favorite Chuck Norris joke), the gays certainly seem to have Chuck Norris shaking in his boots.

Yes.

Because no one ever complained about the Boy Scout's anti-gay policies before Barack Obama became president.

Except the thousand and thousands of OTHER people who have been complaining about the BSA's bigotry for decades. Well, there's them.

I'm actually offended that every achievement the LGBT community makes now will be credited by the right wing to Obama.

I've never liked Chuck Norris. I have always thought that he came across has having a small brain (among other things). His comments du jour have just confirmed my suspicions.
