More good news!
After the GOP-controlled Colorado House managed to let the state's civil unions bill die on the floor before it could be debated, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper has decided to call a special legislative session to resolve the bill.
More after the jump.
Hickenlooper cited an "overwhelming need" to discuss the civil unions bill.
He'll be announcing details for the special legislative session on Thursday.
Republican House Speaker Frank McNulty, who'd previously stated he was under no obligation to bring the civil unions bill up for debate on the House floor has not given a statement.
