Deranged Pastor Calls For LGBT Community To Be Imprisoned And Put To Death Inside Electrified Fence

If Twisted Pictures wants to bring its Saw movie franchise back from the dead, producers should consider using North Carolina-based Charles L. Worley as inspiration for their lunatic villain. In a sermon given to a mob of blood-thirsty homophobes at Providence Road Baptist Church on Sunday, Worley announces that he's figured out how to get rid of homosezzuals during an impromptu audition for the role.
Take a xanax and follow the jump to let Worley pitch you his deranged plan.
"I figured a way to get rid of all the lesbians and queers," he says in his sermon, delivered on May 13. "Build a great, big, large fence—150 or 100 mile long—put all the lesbians in there... Do the same thing for the queers and the homosexuals and have that fence electrified so they can't get out… And you know what, in a few years, they'll die." Worley fails to understand that gay people are born, not made, and that there would just be more LGBT folk coming down the line.
He also that if he's asked who he'll vote for, he'll reply, "I'm not going to vote for a baby killer and a homosexual lover."
The not-so-holy man concludes, "God have mercy. It makes me pukin' sick to think about—I don't even whether or not to say this in the pulpit—can you imagine kissing some man?"
Praise Jesus?

Here's information about churches' nonprofit status (and the rules they are breaking by opposing politicking from the pulpit), as well as steps to take to REPORT THEM to the IRS!! http://ffrf.org/faq/state-chur...tivities1/

Please, accept my apology for the hate spewed by this man. I am of the christian faith, but I do NOT believe Mr Worley speaks for God NOR does he speak for me. I hope that the GLBT community realizes that God loves and accepts them just as they are and that many of us christians feel the same.

Leaving off – just think of the closeted child brought to church by his/her family, who secretly struggles with his/her identity and sexuality, having to listen to a man rant and rave about how gays deserve to die alone and secluded from society. Does it get better for these children? Laura Tipton and activists similar to her show that yes, it does get better… or at least it will.

Great notes scallywag. I remember being a closeted child -- needed to survive and prevent being thrown out of the "family values" home as an 'abomination'--and hearing similar rants and accusations hurled at "those evildoers/wicked" (and never is the term people included because the point is to dehumanize and hence class as unworthy of human kindness and respect).
