Did NBA Player Von Wafer Just Come Out?

Or is Twitter just that unhelpful? After the jump, get the details of a Twitter announcement made by one NBA player's account that is having many wonder, "finally?"

Early Monday, pro basketball player Von Wafer's Twitter account posted a very curious tweet:

"I just wanna be gay,I wanna be honest with y'all... I like mens since I was like 15yo , dont be mad ppl on me cuz I still wanna have friends"

J. Michael Falgoust, the NBA writer for USA Today, spoke with Wafer's agent who said he didn't write that tweet and that his account was hacked.

What's your Instinct? Visit his Twitter, vonwafer13, and you'll notice that the voice in the tweet is consistent with his other tweets (as well as the grammatical errors).

Most noticeably, however, is that the tweet hasn't disappeared yet. Hmm, we are sensing that there is much more to be revealed!
