Cupcakes have achieved their pop culture fatigue. First a hit on the indie bakery scene in New York, then co-opted by Sex and the City before finally reaching its zenith as a silly reality TV show on Food Network, the signal that cupcake coolery has officially died is an out-of-the-box blackface scandal at the hands of Duncan Hines.

Though the foodstuffs company has removed it's YouTube videos showing bakers how to make "Hip Hop Cupcakes," Eater managed to keep it alive.

Judging from the ad posted here and the video, are the "hip hop cupcakes" worthy of controversy, Instincters?

just finished watching the video; i thought it was a rather cute and funny ad. i honestly don't see how it's racist in any way.

Christmas is probably the most special day of the year for children. One thing that makes it special is the popular tradition of Santa Claus. ,http://www.2012airshox.eu
