Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo continues to impressively be our greatest hetero ambassador in sports as he bridges a message of marriage equality support into the straight world. The latest evidence of his allegiance to the LGBT community came this week in an interview with ESPN.

"I was always raised that everybody was already treated equally and that God created us the way that we are. If you're homosexual, lesbian, gay or whatever term you want to put in there, that's the way that God created you. You were born that way."

Okay. That does it. I will no longer go to Redskins games. Why support a team with a racist name, a losing scorecard, a greedy owner, and a lousy stadium when I can support the Ravens and Brendan Ayanbadejo? Go Ravens!! See you in Baltimore this season! And thank you, Brendan, for raising the bar.
