Even though our hearts pump vodka rather than blood, we do love to celebrate love. But something in the photo for a purported engagement (seen after the jump) between two young women seems more than a bit sketchy even to our black hearts. Check it out after the jump.
We generally leave our Photoshopping to those with skill sets above that of a four-year-old, but here it looks like someone pulled a fast one on a smalltown newspaper in Iowa called Le Mars Daily Sentinel. (Click on the picture to enlarge for a closer look.)
Gawker does a very thorough job of dissecting the drama behind the announcement (which has since been removed from the newspaper's online announcements), but the main question is the motivation behind the manipulation.
We're three shades of martinis to the wind, and it's barely noon on the east coast, but even we can tell these two women are not actually in the same photo... so what gives?
Why would anybody want to publish fake wedding announcements?

So it is obviously a fake. Maybe a prank by a friend(or hater) of one of the girls.
