Favorite TONY Awards Moment? PDF Print

If you caught last night's ill-produced (all those audio problems!) Tony Awards broadcast, with the production issues aside, there were plenty of moments that made the night memorable (note: SPOILERS FOLLOW): Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth's cheeky reference to the Newsweek article; Glee's Lea Michele sitting on openly-gay hottie Jonathan Groff's lap mid-performance; Matthew Morrison proving why he's a triple threat...

But my favorite moment happened when Douglas Hodge (performing as La Cage's Albin ... performing as Za Za) went out into the audience to serenade stars like Matthew Morrison and Will Smith, and wound up with a $20 tucked neatly away in his portly bosom courtesy of Mr. Morrison. Can't script such things! Congrats to Douglas Hodge who won a Tony for best actor in a musical for his role in La Cage, a production that I was able to check out a few weeks ago and decided an hour into the performance that I had never had as much fun on Broadway. It's a must see!

So Instincters, what was your favorite Tony Awards 2010 moment?
