Analysts are likely expecting General Mills stock prices to rise over the coming weeks after a shady National Organization for Marriage associated-group announced a protest of the gay-friendly company. And we all know how great "Dump Starbucks" was for the coffee corp! (Details follow).

Minnesota for Marriage today revealed the new "Dump General Mills" campaign (which is based at a website Good As You's Jeremy Hooper expertly unveiled as belonging to NOM) in response to the corporation's recent opposition to the anti-gay marriage amendment facing voters.

The tactic this time around differs slightly from NOM and its evil empire's approach to Starbucks: anti-gay activists are planning to demonstrate a la the Westboro clan across from the General Mills Minnesota headquarters daily between June 26 and June 29.

An email announcing "Dump General Mills" went out from Minnesota for Marriage today:

"In what will go down as the stupidest PR stunt in modern history General Mills as a company has endorsed same sex marriage," said group spokesman Andy Parrish in an email. "I know it seems odd for a company who spends billions of dollars marketing products to moms and dads with young children to do such a thing, but General Mills has tried to please a small minority of individuals who feel entitled to change the definition for all society."

The anti-gay group goes on to instruct sheeple attending the protest to bring their General Mills products and "dump" them into an on-site trailer as a sign of disgust with the companies support of civil rights.

Of course this is largely a waste of time (and likely a PR stunt that will backfire) because, as we reported yesterday, NOM and its puppet groups have a tough road ahead according to the latest finance reports out of Minnesota.
