The always outspoken, Dan Savage, had his own take on this display of Christian love (and frightening indoctrination). Check out what he had to say after the jump.

He writes:  "A four-year-old child at a church in Indiana gets a standing ovation when he sings "Ain't no homos gonna make it to heaven." Looks like it was at a wedding. Paul Loebe at Free Thought Blogs:

We all know that these actions are absolutely reprehensible and wrong. You can start by contacting this church here. Let them know that these actions are absolutely and unequivocally disgusting and that you want them to come out with a statement condemning such acts. You an also write letters to their pastor here:

Apostolic Truth Tabernacle Pastor: Rev. Jeff Sangl 1114 W Westridge Parkway Greensburg, IN. 47240

You can leave a message here: (812) 662-8224

The Apostolic Truth Tabernacle is in Greensburg, Indiana. That's the town where Billy Lucas was bullied to death for being perceived to be gay by his classmates. I wonder if they stood up and cheered at Apostolic Truth Tabernacle when Lucas died—hey, another homo in hell. I wonder if any of Lucas's tormenters attend services at Apostolic Truth Tabernacle. And remember: I'm an anti-Christian bully for pointing out the connection between what straight kids are taught about "homos" in the shithole mega-churches they're dragged to by their parents and what they turn around and do to "homos" they encounter in classrooms. And what if that precocious little four-year-old singer is gay?

Praise the Lord and pass the barf bags."

We think that about sums it up.

Original Post

Video showing a four year-old's performance of the classic Christian™ hymn "Ain't No Homos Gonna Make It To Heaven" at Greensburg, Indiana's Apostolic Truth Tabernacle has gone viral. The story, which rivals only the Miami zombie drug cannibal as the week's most disgusting news item, has been picked up by CNN and other mainstream media outlets. Guess homophobic small town churches and their pastors are hot right now!

Children singing in Church to enthusiastic... by f100001838231867

If you're so moved by the bigoted brainwashing depicted in the video, here's the contact information for this week's headline-grabbing anti-gay church.

You people are disgusting and you call yourselfs good christians and worse yet good parents. Judgement day will come and those that hate will be judged harshly and the parents who teach there children to hate will be much worse.

Horrible and ignorant beyond belief! I sent them a message off their church's website stating: "You and your congregation are a disgrace to Christians everywhere. What type of Christian breeds and installs hate for ANY other human in their children? Especially a 4 yr old! You are not the maker, you are not the judge so do you think you are better and higher than God? God commands us to love all and not to judge. Do you kick out anyone in your congregation that has tattoo's? How about anyone with earrings? It amazes me how you can pick ONE thing for the bible and say it's Gods' commandment but choose to ignore EVERYthing else. You want to be true to the Lord and His commandments? You better get your altar out and start sacrificing animals too."

This is NOT Christ-like at all! Sick!, totally sick the children are taught hate. Well, if this church population represents the general population (probably not, as most are not this ignorant), then 10% of them are not going to Heaven. ! This IS child abuse!

You're an idiot, Truth Hurts. Go troll somewhere else with your ludicrous support for a God that enjoys debasing human beings.

Now Jen, below is a verse on reference to Sodom and Gommorah, now u tell me that not talking about homosexuality:

"Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet."

When I watched the History channel's story about Sodom and Ghomora it said the people (heterosexual) were extremely permiscuous. The heteosexuals decided they must have been homosexual. Thus the myth about Sodom and Ghomora.

Let's say the boy said murderers or adulterers or abusers of women or rape, that you weren't going to make it to heaven because of that? But because the boy said homo, instead of murderers or rapist or adulterers suddenly that's hatred or being a bigot.... I think sin is sin... Funny how that is....

ha - the very fact that you can even compare homosexuality to murderers, adulterers, abusers of women or rapist is so ignorant that it makes me sick. After listening to the people cheer I know I shouldn't really be amazed that there are people as stupid as you, but I constantly am and more than that I am terrified by you and your ignorance. In the end, all this video proves, along with comments from people like you is that there is large group of people out there that have not idea of what being a good christian or more importantly a decent human being is all about. I know the gates of heaven won't be closed to homosexuals, I am sure they will be closed to people like you and those in this church.

Your a compromising idiot, what he's saying is sin is sin bro, bottom line. And because its this sin, homosexuality, your ok with it. bible say God hates all sin, it doesn't list an exclusion for homosexuality. Christian, is to be Christ like, Christ is loving, but there is a wrath side of Christ, esp towards sin.
