While Fran Drescher is giving us Happily Divorced realness on her new hit show, she’s promoting marriage bliss with her new contest, the “Love is Love Gay Marriage Contest.” Want be married by this Nanny? Check out the details here.

On March 6 Drescher plans to officiate the marriage of three gay couples ready to get hitched, Fran style. And this Queens’ Queen wouldn’t do her marrying in anywhere other than the Big Apple. (It’s legal there –whew!)

The contest kicks off the second season of Happily Divorced, a sitcom inspired by Drescher’s own marriage, about a Hollywood florist whose husband turns out to be gay. Did Drescher get the role because Katie Holmes turned it down?  Nonetheless she is in full support of marriage equality and is proving it.

"I'm proud to be an American and I admire our constant strive towards liberty, justice, and equality for all,” stated Drescher. “It is our duty to recognize that injustice exists and shift national consciousness to correct that injustice. Marriage equality is our opportunity to uphold our constitutional values, to stretch beyond our comfort zone and mature into a better version of ourselves. It is only by example that we may continue to be a beacon of freedom for the rest of the world. This is a no brainer, people; after all…love is love."

If you’re in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut, you’re in love, and you’re ready for Fran to pronounce you hubby and hubby, submit a video of two minutes or less or a photo and 350-word essay in which you tell how your own love story represents the idea that “love is love” and why you want to be married by Fran. Fran will hand-select her top three couples based on their story and originality.

Enter to win here.

We don’t want to be all Bitter Betty on you, but if you aspire to be one of Fran’s fantasy couples, we hope you’re ready to make it last longer than a New York minute.

I hope you people realize that, as you read this, innumerable married gays around the world are committing acts of what I have taken to calling “homoterrorism”. Yup. I'm not kidding either.

No, seriously.

Homeland Security agents across this great nation should be on the lookout for same-sex love acts that, while seemingly inconsequential to the untrained eye, are in reality part of a devious conspiracy calculated to destroy Traditional Marriage by promoting a Godless, gay, faux-nuptialed lifestyle.

Really think about it. If a large number of lesbians were to hug one another, it could cause the collapse of the Greek economy, for example (SEE! I TOLD YOU!); numerous instances of men kissing other men would undoubtedly result in The End of Days.

In terms of national security, this clearly constitutes a "fuchsia-level" alert situation (which is super-high).
