Fox is hoping to breath new life into Glee next season after a loss of ratings and interest encumbered TV's gayest show this year. New for the series? It'll move to Thursdays and add more A-list stars to its already crowded IMDB page!
Sarah Jessica Parker is set for a multiple episode guest starring role next season for Glee. It'll likely be some time before we learn the details of the Sex and the City star's turn on the show, but the casting makes complete sense.
In other news regarding GLAAD's favorite show that was announced today when FOX revealed its fall 2012 schedule, Glee will move from Tuesdays to Thursdays to not only receive a little lead-in from The X-Factor (in autumn) and American Idol (in spring), but to open up room and allow Tuesday nights to become the network's sitcom block.
One of the sitcoms taking up Glee's old time-slot is a rom-com from Mindy Kaling (The Office) about a doctor searching for love. Considering how much we love Mindy's modern humor and empathy, our lazy Spanx-wrapped butts won't groan as much when it comes time to switch our DVR recording schedule.
But will other Gleeks be so willing to make the switch and pull the show out of its ratings slump?
