Sheeple worried about Rick Perry's ambiguous statements in support of a state's right to pass marriage equality last week can unclench their booties; the Texas Governor and possible 2012 GOP presidential candidate wants to remind you that he is still a raging anti-equality homophobe.
Last week, speaking in front of campaign donors in Colorado about marriage equality passing in New York, Perry said, "that's New York, and that's their business, and that's fine with me. That is their call. If you believe in the 10th Amendment, stay out of their business."
Today, after a week of fury from fanatics, Perry "clarified" his "fine by me" during a radio interview with hate group head Tony Perkins.
“I probably needed to add a few words after that ‘it’s fine with me,’ and that it’s fine with me that a state is using their sovereign rights to decide an issue. Obviously gay marriage is not fine with me. My stance hasn’t changed.”
