Really, Boy Scouts of America? You're cool with being associated with a known hate group in an effort to preserve a dusty, antiquated rule? 

That's the story according to American Family Association's Bryan Fischer, who said on his radio program today that the BSA called him for advice ahead of its decision to uphold its policy of discrimination against LGBT people and for his help to "call off the dogs."

Did the Boy Scouts call GLAAD? HRC? Did they reach out to any of our groups to discuss their policy, or did they confine their outreach to a man who once said that "Homosexuality gave us Adolf Hitler" (among countless other things) ? Inquiring minds…
