WorldPride, slated to take over London in July, has announced that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is this year's recipient of its top honor: the World LGBT Award. 

Beneficiary of the gala that will hand Clinton her much-deserved award is Pride London's Solidarity Fund, which helps out LGBT in the very harsh Commonwealth nations that the Secretary gave a side-eye to during her historic United Nations pro-gay speech. 

As JoeMyGod points out, following 2014's WorldPride celebration in Toronto, the event will be held only once every five years.
