Regis, we love you, buddy. But you're no Mark Consuelos. We'll use any excuse to put a hot picture or two of our hubby on this here websitey thingy, but we also have some news to report. After you're done drooling on and over Kelly's our man, follow the jump for more.
Since all the world knows by now that Regis is following in Oprah's "time-to-step-down" footsteps, speculation about who may replace him has been keeping peeps all a'chatter 'round watercoolers coast to coast. Mark Consuelos, our hottie McHot hubby, just onboard Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays’, may add another job title to his resumé. But will he really be able to work every day of the week with that equally gorgeous wife of his, side by side, day in and day out?
Broadway.com has the full story, but here are our favorite snippets:
“I would probably annoy my wife,” he joked. “We did work together for a number of years on All My Children [as lovers Hayley and Mateo], and those were really long days. This show is only an hour, so I think we’d be OK.”
As for co-hosting duties, Mark tells Boradway.com:
“As much buzz and conjecture there is about certain people, nobody has asked me. I wish Regis well, and if anybody deserves to have some time to do what they want to do and move on, it’s him. The guy works so hard.”
Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays officially opens at off-Broadway’s Minetta Lane Theatre on November 13.
Oh, and just because we love yas...another pic of our man sans those pesky things called shirts. (Click on the pick to expand it, kids.) You're welcome.
