Is Kathy Griffin softening in her old(ish)-age? Lindsay Lohan, once the punchline in many a Kathy Griffin joke, is being let off the hook by the comedianne following the infamous Playboy spread.

 Sure, it was a goldmine for Kathy-esque jokes, but our favorite fiery red-head didn't take Lindsay's Playboy bait. 

In an interview with Huffpo, Kathy lets Lindsay off lightly. 

"I looked at [the Playboy spread] online," she said. "I might look at an actual physical copy, because I do enjoy airbrushed photos. I've been subjected to many, in fact. I don't want the photo part at all, I want the airbrush."

If that surprisingly supportive turn for Kath wasn't shocking enough, she went on to add, "Good for Linds, I hope she got a lot of money. It's the way to go. We've all seen her crotch in paparazzi pictures anyway, so what's the big deal?
