Is an American anti-gay group linked to Uganda's "Kill The Gays" bill also knee deep in the coverup of a murder?
The Missouri-based International House of Prayer (yes, their acronym is IHOP--let's just get that out of the way) is attempting to mask their ties with cult-leader Tyler Deaton.
Deaton is under suspicion of ordering his wife Bethany's murder after it appeared that she may reveal the cult's religious rituals (some of which are homosexual in nature) to her therapist.
More after the jump.
Beyond the revelations of homosexual rituals, Bethany was also drugged and sexually abused.
Now IHOP wants to distance themselves from Deaton. The group claims that Deaton's sect was completely separate from IHOP that his sect operated under a "veil of secrecy."
However a website posting listed Deaton as one of IHOP's six division coordinators. IHOP is claiming that Deaton's listing is an error and that higher-ups within the group have never met him.
However, another listed division coordinator says she attended at least three meetings where Deaton was present and participated.
It sounds like the IHOP leadership wants to erase their obvious connections with Deaton, but we're thinking they won't be able to.
What else could the mysterious anti-gay group be attempting to keep hidden from public view?
