Andrew Sullivan says it is.

Sullivan wouldn't be the first to criticize the Human Rights Campaign's fundraising efforts, but could his insinuation that the org is exploiting anti-gay bullying and its victims indeed indicate a new low for the country's leading gay group that is sometimes considered controversial within the gay community?

I read that all of the $3 will be donated, but I also read (on your site) something that seemed to indicate that Instinct was not a fan of HRC. Am I missing something? I'm a loyal and avid reader of your magazine, yet don't recall any articles about the HRC that would show them in a less-than-favorable light. I can only assume that it might be more political than you like to get in the pages of the mag.

I'll bet those bracelets are a real money maker for organizations with big distribution capabilities.

No way! Not a new low. The organization does a RIDICULOUS amount of good for LGBTQ people! It's about solidarity. The bracelets are cute, trendy, and they send a great message. People will be glad to support HRC while spreading the message of no hate!
