The photo above, the thesis project of a student on the cusp of receiving their Master's in Photoshop foolery, highlights the newest quote from the Kardashian sisters that employs the term "tranny." So, what do the sisters have to say about their look (and should we be kindly correcting them)?
Speaking about how her late father Robert Kardashian got the sisters started early on makeup, Kim tells xoJane.com, "He said, 'My daughters are going to start to wear makeup and I want you guys to look at least presentable,' which I thought was really cool. And we've turned out to be the biggest trannies because of it."
Added Khloe, "We joke and say we are like trannies because we love hair and makeup."
Earlier this year, Khloe told Huffington Post that she felt "horrible" to be referred to as a member of the trans community, but now she thinks it's funny and has embraced the (offensive) "tranny" term?
So, is the Kardashian's casual use of "tranny" a nod to the community and a sign of solidarity or is it now time the LGBT community attempts to curb the Kardashian's preference for the word?
