Looks like gays won't be chowing down at Chick-fil-A anytime soon!

The LGBT community and our straight-allies refrain from funneling money to vehemently anti-gay groups by ordering Chick-fil-A's greasy chicken sandwiches and soggy waffle fries due to what we know about the fast food chain's donations between 2003 and 2009.

Today, however, Equality Matters has released an extensive report revealing that Chick-fil-A continued to give us a fat middle finger by donating millions to anti-gay groups again in 2010.

From Equality Matters' new report:

In early 2011, Chick-fil-A came under fire for its donations and political ties to a number of anti-gay groups. Though Chick-fil-A continues to deny supporting an anti-gay agenda, the company has donated over $3 million to organizations like the Family Research Council and Exodus International between 2003 and 2009. And in 2010 alone, Chick-fil-A donated over $1.9 million to anti-gay causes, more than any other year for which public records are available.

  • WinShape Donated $2,500 To Georgia Family Council.

Despite these flagrant contributions f*cking gays for nearly a decade, Chick-fil-A's president and COO Dan Cathy wants you to believe that his company is not anti-gay.

From Equality Matters:

Cathy argued that Chick-fil-A has "no agenda against anyone," and that the company would not "champion any political agendas" relating to marriages or families but would nonetheless "continue to offer resources to strengthen marriages and families."

I've never eaten at Chic-Fil-A. We only have three in Miami, but now I know to stay away since I'm obviously not welcome there.

We need to speak with our wallets. And so should all our straight friends and allies.

Speaking with your wallet is great, but you need to write them and tell them you won't be giving them any business and why. You also need to spread the word to others so they can do the same.

Haters gonna hate, and Christians make the best haters of all. After all, they've had centuries of practice.

Are you kidding me? The double standard for "freedom" is appalling. This company isn't trying to cram anything down anyone's throat or even promote it secretly. This is still America isn't it?
What this girl is doing is not helping to open minds and hearts about "gay rights". You are doing more harm than good...much more.
