But if we had to pick two that were in the midst of a Facebook frenzy, Kelly Clarkson’s rendition of Madonna’s Crazy For You is in definite competition for second, which is a rank neither of these ladies is used to having. Wait! Kelly Clarkson takes requests?! That’s right. In honor of her road to fame being paved with fans’ intentions, Clarkson has been asking concertgoers to submit their choices for songs she should cover at the end of her show on each stop of her tour.
In gearing up for sharing the stage….er….field with the Idol’s idol, Clarkson chose Madonna’s “Crazy For You” out of the pile on Saturday night, warming it up with her rocker voice and the personable anecdotes that made us originally fall in love with our Texan gal.
And Kelly, we know you’re taking a little backlash about you’re weight, but we’re proud of you for standing up for yourself. After all, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
I loved your article. Kelly is so talented and beautiful. She does covers better than anyone. I too am tired of all the bashing about her weight. She looks great. I have no idea what is wrong with people. They are just horrible and cruel. I love that Kelly doesn't give a crap about that. She is a hero and a wonderful strong role model for us all.
