Madonna and Beyonce’s invitations arrived, Kanye West’s must have been lost in the mail.
As seemingly every celebrity in the world is taking part in one form or another – Madonna and Beyonce were just added, as performers nonetheless! -- in tomorrow night’s George Clooney star-athon Hope for Haiti, there is one telethon-experienced performer who isn’t: Kanye West.
Popeater thinks its because producers of the star-studded benefit don’t want any of Kanye’s Hennesy hijinks f’ing up their show.
"After what he said on the Katrina telethon and the way he behaved at the MTV Video Music Awards, everyone agrees it's just best that he does not participate," a producing partner told Popeater. "Kayne has to make everything about himself. He will do anything to steal the spotlight and, well, this night it's just not about him.”
