On Monday we reported that Madonna was being asked to cancel her MDNA tour stop scheduled for this summer in St. Petersburg, Russia in boycott of the city's heinous (and now official) anti-gay/anti-Pride law. Her Madgesty has spoken about the request and tackled it in true Madonna form. So, what does Madonna have to say about plans to stop in St. Petersburg?

“I will come to St. Petersburg to speak up for the gay community and to give strength and inspiration to anyone who is or feels oppressed," Madonna said late Tuesday. "I’m a freedom fighter."

“I don’t run away from adversity,” she added. “I will speak during my show about this ridiculous atrocity.”

How do you feel about Madonna's decision to ignore the boycott and fight freedom in St. Petes?
