NOM's Maggie Gallagher has been paying extra close attention to our crazy forearm workouts of late because that's the only reason we can think of for why she's trying to scare sheeple into believing that gays want to "rip Genesis right out of our Bibles." The many things wrong with Maggie's latest asshattery, after the jump.

First, the quote, which venomously poured out of Maggie during a recent interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network:

"It's becoming increasingly clear that the gay rights movement, the gay marriage movement, really does believe you're like a racist if you think marriage is the union of husband and wife. They want to rip Genesis out of our Bibles."

OK—our Bibles, Maggie? You have just ripped "Go forth and spread the word"—pretty much the entire point and Christian sub headline for The Bible—from your Bible with this petty act of terrorism.

This latest line of attack is yet another in the hate-group's Hail Mary play to paint themselves and their tens of followers as the victims of intolerance and hate. Unfortunately for them, as evident by their increasing string of losses, they've underestimated the American people. Keep it up, Maggie and NOM and you'll be gone from the public forum much sooner than we had anticipated.

What Ms. Gallagher conveniently forgets is that there are far more straight people who support equal marriage rights than there are gay people who support it. The overwhelming majority of people voting to support marriage rights for gays and lesbians are straight. More lying, in other words, from Ms. Gallagher. But she finds it more appealing to vilify gay people, even though it's mostly straight people who are moving equal marriage rights forward.

This woman makes Anita Bryant look saintly.
