We miss Ugly Betty. We really do. It’s not quite the same watching Vanessa Williams on Desperate Housewives or Becki Newton doing her thing in various guest-spots. That being said, we’ll take the talented cast wherever we can get them, which is why we’re thrilled that it looks like our personal fave, Michael Urie will be returning to television this Fall in the new series Partners!

Sure, CBS has only ordered a pilot episode at this point, but it’s by the producers of Will & Grace, which can’t hurt. It’s an odd-couple buddy comedy centered on two business partners: one straight and one gay. Doesn’t sound too complicated, but with the talented Mr. Urie signed on as the gay partner, we think it’s heading in the right direction.

Still, we do miss Ugly Betty. Just remember, before Glee’s “Kurt Hummel” was a blip on the gaydar, there was “Marc St. James.”
