We didn't need more excuses to like Chelsea Clinton, but reports that she recorded multiple ads in support of marriage equality only make us bigger fans of the progeny of Bill and Hillz.

Unfortunately, we may not ever get to see those ads based on Buzzfeed's exclusive news that the ads were squashed by NBC where Chelsea's employed by NBC News.

More after the jump!

Buzzfeed writes:

"In the video, a third source said that Clinton described her belief that everyone should have the freedom to marry, detailed the importance of the upcoming votes, and stated that success in the states voting on marriage would send a message to rest of the country."

NBC's decision to not let the ads air was most likely an attempt to keep Clinton politically impartial. As a special correspondent for NBC News, we're not really supposed to know the political opinions of the network's journalists.

Still, we're happy to see Chelsea vocally sharing her support for our team!

Did NBC make the right call by scuttling Chelsea's pro-marriage equality ads, Instincters?

NBC news has a long-standing policy that its reporters are not supposed to promote a political agenda. (I wish someone would send that memo to their cable network MSNBC)
