President Obama is making it abundantly clear how much he and Mitt Romney differ on the issue of same-sex marriage (and even civil unions).
Obama brings out the big guns in a new ad titled, "Mitt Romney: Backwards On Equality."
Check it out after the jump.
So Mitt wants to amend the US Constitution to ban same-sex marriage. He doesn't believe in civil unions, and he wants to leave decisions like the right to visit same-sex partners in the hospital up to the states.
The differences between the two candidates seem crystal clear.
Mitt needs to wake up and smell the coffee, if there was a law passed banning DIVORCE, heterosexual couples whould be up in arms, shouting about how their civil liberties and human rights had been infringed upon. Who the hell gives someone the right to choose who someone else can love, let alone choose as to whether or not a same-sex couple can go and see their partner in hospital. It's completely Draconian, about time these "SO CALLED" do-gooders, practice what they preached. GAY LESBIAN, BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD, PAY THE SAME TAXES AS EVERYONE ELSE, WE DESERVE THE SAME RIGHTS AS EVERYONE ELSE

Funny how when he was running for Governor of Mass. in 1994 he said that he would be "better than Ted Kennedy for gay rights".
