The National Organization for Marriage's Brian Brown has managed to even outdo his own dirty reputation by fundraising off the tragic Family Research Council shooting and painting all marriage equality supporters as "attempted murderers" in the process. 

Writes Brian in a new newsletter:

"It is time for the good people across the nation to stand up and tell the gay marriage thugs that this is where their attacks end. ...

Remember: the only way to deal with a bully is to stand up to him. 

P.S.: We're not going to allow gay activists to get away with attempted murder. 

Seriously, with this guy??

If Brian can so easily lump all LGBT activists in with one crazed gunman who acted alone then what's stopping us from lumping all anti-gay activists in with the homophobes murdering gays around the world on a daily basis?

We might all now be "attempted murderers" to you, Brian, but, p.s., we're not going to allow you and your ilk to get away with murder. See how your attempt to connect the marriage equality movement with the acts of a domestic terrorist (and your despicable attempt to fundraise off said act) could possibly backfire?
