McDonalds-attack

Updated Tuesday, 3 p.m. EST

The NYPD has taken into custody a suspect believed to have been involved in last week's atrocious razor blade attack. Details follow.

44-year old Keith Patron was arrested and charged with a hate crime assault on Monday. More details have emerged from the gay bashing to reveal that Patron attacked his victim after the victim's trans girlfriend attempted to use the women's restroom.

"The guy started calling us faggots, saying he can’t stand gay people," said the victim's girlfriend. "The insults were directed directly at me. My boyfriend said, 'This is my girl.'"

It's the second anti-gay hate crime in less than a year at this particular New York City McDonald's.

Previously reported:

The same New York City McDonald's used as a crime scene last year in the brutal anti-gay attack of Damian Furtch is back in the news today after a horrific razor slashing took place on Thursday.

NYPD officers are on the hunt for the suspect seen in the above image who allegedly cut another man in the face, back, neck and elbow with a razor. The attack is said to have stemmed from an anti-gay motive and sent the victim to the hospital for stitches.

Eye witnesses and surveillance footage have lead investigators to believe the man in question is between 35-40 years old, around 5 feet 9 inches and weighs between 300-350 pounds.'

This particular McDonald's location considered installing a full time security guard following 2011's horrific hate crime but has yet to move forward with the plan.
