"One Million" Moms will retreat to its dank basement with its tail between its legs to sniff out a new source of unreasonable outrage now that its protest against JC Penney and Ellen DeGeneres has officially been removed from its hateful agenda. Details follow.
Claiming it has decided to "move on" from the campaign against the retailer because other issues require its attention, One Million Moms has admitted defeat without actually saying so.
"But we have heard back from so many of our members," says OMM Director Monica Cole. "We have heard back from men and women—not just moms—saying they will no longer shop there at JC Penney, as long as Ellen DeGeneres is their spokesperson."
One Million Moms threat of boycott against Toys R Us for carrying an Archie Comics edition that featured same-sex marriage caused the issue to sell out in a matter of days.
Given your track record with turning the subjects of your hilarious boycotts into business success stories, might we suggest you next turn to Voskos Yogurt (link NSFW-ish)? We would definitely like to see more of this ad campaign!
