We're big fans of Noah's Arc, Logo's groundbreaking series surrounding the fictional lives of a group of gay Black men in Los Angeles, and we're still mourning the loss of one of the few pieces of scripted gay programming on television.

Logo has heard our cries and in an attempt make it up to us, they're airing Noah's Arc creator, Patrik-Ian Polk's latest film, The Skinny, "a sexually-charged, and wildly steamy, coming-of-age dramedy about five young gay friends who reunite at New York’s Pride Week!"

More after the jump!

The Skinny, which is currently making the rounds in theatres across the country courtesy of Polk's independent distribution, makes its world television premiere on Sunday, July 8 at 10 PM ET/PT on Logo.

Logo describes the film as being "Centered on a group of recent Brown graduates who come together for New York Pride Week, the film explores the intersection of sex, promiscuity, monogamy, drugs, HIV and love in each of their lives – taking on the complex issues that face all races in the gay community."

We can't wait! It sounds like there's something in this for everyone. (And we're certainly not opposed to all the sexy that we're seeing in this trailer!)

Look for cameos from some our faves, Darryl Stephens and Wilson Cruz, as well as host of up-and-coming talent, including Jussie Smolett, Blake Young-Fountain, Anthony Burrell, Shanika Warren-Markland and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman.

Will you be checking out The Skinny, Instincters? We've already got our DVR's set!!
