Straight from the mouths of babes (literally)! Reichen Lehmkuhl has confirmed rumors that Logo, looking to broaden its lineup with more mainstream appeal, has pulled the plug on The A-Lists of New York and Dallas.

Reichen broke the news in a Tweet that reads:

"The A-List New York will NOT be back. Official word. So long boys. What a long, strange, trip that was. Xo -Reich"

Later, Reichen added a bit more on Facebook:

"Logo said, '[they] are changing directions. A-List isn't a match for that direction.' Take that for what it means to you. On to new and exciting things for me. :-) xo."

Still, though Logo is openly "changing directions," the network told Queerty that it's looking to utilize A-Liststars in its new straight-er shows. “However, we’re exploring ways to work with the stars of the series on other projects at Logo," a rep wrote in an email.

What do you think of the cancellations, Instincters?

I enjoyed these shows! Say what you want about their actions, decisions, behaviors... But they were real gay men living real gay life!!! I am severely disappointed and disheartened. As the nation moves forward in its attitude, cable tv takes a HUGE step backward... AIDEN'S WORLD should be axed!! Not the few gay targeted programs my community has on tv!!!!! If it weren't for Rupaul, I would most definitely boycott LOGO TV!!!!

I didn't realize these shows were still on. I lost interest in them quickly. Same drama, same characters, just different day.

I quit watching Logo a long time ago. It was always the same shitty programming repeated over and over. Now that Logo is selling out, I will definitely continue not to watch that channel.

A-List Dallas had its charms, I was rather looking forward to the new season and it's lineup of quarrelsome cuties. However, A-List NY was a stinking cesspool of negativity, rather like watching a gory accident in slow motion, one was fascinated and revolted at the same time.
Generally Logo Channel was a big disappointment, they never were able develop any quality original gay programming and mostly served up D-list gay themed movies and other low budget shitty programming. I doubt Logo as a gay channel will be missed, it was a big disappointment for the gay community and as for myself I will make a point to avoid watching the channel ever again. I feel a bit betrayed.

I watched the A-List NY for the first time about a week ago. I was somewhat surprised that these men were so superficial about so many things. They could possibly be somewhat of an example to other younger gay men but they were so worried about how they looked and what they bought and where they lived. Are we truly defined by society and not something or someone deeper and more genuine than that?
