A little healthy competition has sent Robert Pattinson into a spiral of unhealthy choices after paling in comparison (literally) to Taylor Lautner's chiseled abs. Guess these are the kinds of conversations that Twilight has influenced in pop-culture. (Not that we're complaining.)
If gay men over a certain age pay attention to Twilight, it's likely due to its hunky star-power, which faced-off (well, abbed-off) during the filming of the upcoming Breaking Dawn Part 1.
Speaking with MTV, Robert Pattinson reveals how his pale six-pack was put into competition with Taylor's action-star washboard.
"This is so unfair doing a comparison. Everyone says I painted on my abs in ['New Moon']—I did not! Taylor has his painted on too!" he accused with a laugh.
"What?" Lautner responded. "What are you talking about? I don't understand this."
"I had it for, like, two weeks," he said of his abs.
"As soon as I didn't have to be shirtless anymore [my good habits were] gone immediately," Pattinson continued. "During [filming in] Brazil, the day before I had to do my shirtless scene, I realized [my abs] weren't as good as Taylor's, so I just ate every bit of chocolate in the mini-bar. I started eating cheeseburgers and stuff."
We'd do the same if we had to go shirtless next to Tay Tay, Robert.
