Has Rod Stewart's Lil Kim problem been expunged like the alleged body fluids from a mythical night decades ago?
The aging superstar sure hopes so after finally tackling the sordid rumor in a candid interview with ABC News.
The rumor that Rod Stewart pulled a Travolta one night long ago with a group of sailors and had to have his stomach pumped is the result of a "very mean-spirited" publicist, according to the star.
“I had a very mean-spirited press man that is no longer on this earth, so there’s not much he can do about it. But he was upset at being fired, so he decided to start this ridiculous rumor. ‘Spiteful’ is the word I would use,” he told ABC News.
“And my kids had to live with this for a while,” Stewart added. “You know, it’s hard. It’s a wicked, wicked thing.”
