San Francisco's controversial ban on public nudity passed a first Board of Supervisors vote as we reported in November, with a second and final vote held yesterday pretty much cementing the ordinance in stone.

According to CBS News:

The ordinance initially passed 6-5 by the Board of Supervisors on Nov. 20, but was given final approval Tuesday afternoon by the same vote. The new law prohibits nudity on city streets, sidewalks, plazas and other public spaces in what was once known as a nude-friendly city.

Several men and women in the board chambers who came to witness the vote took off their clothes and began to yell at supervisors. They were led out of the chambers by sheriff's deputies, who draped blankets over them because public nudity is not allowed at City Hall.

The ordinance now goes to Mayor Ed Lee who has hinted that he plans to sign the nudity ban into law. When he does, it will go into effect on February 1, 2013. Folsom Street and San Francisco Pride will be exempt from the proposed law.

I do not see the value of a nudity ban anywhere on planet Earth, and I am definitely not a Liberal. People are born nude and too much taboo is attached to nudity, considering that nudity and degeneracy are two different things. Speaking for myself, nudity is not for me, but I do not see any harm if people want to be either Natural or "Free". In a world of complex problems this matter is so petty. Most of the degenerates are either educators or healthcare workers but everyone else, it's their call, and Right, as a Human, and I as an American am compelled to support Rights, whether I agree with them or not. 21st Century, there should be absolutely no nudity prohibitions anywhere. Grow up.
