Stranger Danger!

An Indiana man has been charged with sexual exploitation of children after allegedly coercing two teenage boys into being his “cam slaves,” by threatening to post videos of them performing sex acts on gay porn sites.

More after the jump.

According to the FBI, in a sworn affidavit Richard Leon Finkbiner, 39, admitted to victimizing at least 100 people, mostly boys 14 to 16 years old.

Timothy Horty, a spokesman for the US Attorney’s Office in Indianapolis , explains: “These victims go into chat rooms, develop a relationship and conversation with someone. Finkbiner would then capture uncoerced video of the boys, who probably did not know they were talking to a 39-year-old man.

Finkbiner would then e-mail them a link to their own video with the threat to publish it on gay porn sites if they did not agree to become his ‘cam slave.’”

In this scenario, Finkbiner allegedly emailed a Michigan teen in February threatening, “I’ll add your name and email so if anyone googles u they will see ur video.”

He threatened another teen, similarly, taunting: “You want to play this game, or you want to be a gay porn star?”

The Michigan teen complied, but according to FBI Special Agent Ryan Barrett, he “broke down” from stress after a second instance.

Barrett explains that the teen “became emotional and hysterical, and disclosed to his brother what was happening,” The brother ultimately told their parents, who then contacted the Oakland County, Michigan, Sheriff’s Department.

Finkbiner was then tracked to Indiana via his e-mail address and Skype account. He was also being tracked by an investigator in Prince George’s County, Maryland, following a predatory exchange with a 14-year-old Maryland boy.

Finkbiner apparently could not readily identify the boy when presented with a photo of him; he’d coerced so many boys into performing sexual acts that he couldn’t recognize a specific victim.

According to Finkbiner’s emails, one boy begged Finkbiner to leave him alone: “I’m only a kid and this is against the law so please stop doing this I beg you,” to which Finkbiner allegedly replied, “I wont get caught im a hacker I covered my tracks.”

This guy’s gonna have a helluva time in prison.

If convicted of the initial charges Finkbiner could serve a maximum of 30 years. He’s scheduled to appear before a federal judge on Wednesday.
