WeHo boys looking for a reason to strike a Charlie's Angels pose in front of Revolver will have to keep looking because widely circulated rumors that Drew Barrymore purchased the L.A. hotspot have now been officially denied by the bar.
The National Enquirer got the rumor mill grinding by reporting the gossip (via the Belfast Telegraph):
The Hollywood actress is said to be the proud new owner of Revolver in West Hollywood. The establishment is a favourite with the area's gay clientele, which is said to be why Drew splashed out.
"It's one of the hottest clubs in West Hollywood, which features scantily clad male go-go dancers," reports National Enquirer.
"Drew just loves the gay scene," a source added.
The star is apparently not content with owning just one club. She and a group of her close friend are said to be considering buying another drinking establishment which is located opposite Revolver.
But on Tuesday afternoon, Revolver tossed some much-needed salt into the conjecture by taking to its Facebook page to write [sic], "Just so everyone is on the same page, Drew Berrymore did not buy Revolver."
It was pretty believable, though, right?
