Technically, Ke$ha's "We R Who We R" arrived after the cutoff for the 2011 Grammy Award nominations so this track in particular wasn't snubbed (yet), but the timing of its premiere to coincide with the award nominations yesterday (and the resulting biggest snub of the year; see previous post) is kind of awkward, don't you think? Nearly as awkward as Ke$ha's dancing and lip-dubbing in the new video. With a budget likely 10x what the gays had at their disposal for the same song, the Ke$ha team should've come up with something...better. It's like they just continually throw more and more junk on Ke$ha's eyelids, eyebrows and under-eye area in the hopes that it'll distract from her still-horrific performances.
